Welcome to APWU Local 692

We are Local 692 of the American Postal Workers Union. We are located in Champaign, Illinois. Welcome to our Website. We are here for our members but, we welcome all visitors!

A Message from our President

Welcome to the APWU Local 692's website!

During our April 2002 union meeting those attending gave the go ahead to set up this site as an additional forum to share information with our membership. This site is a work in progress and any ideas from the members will be appreciated. Our organization represents approximately 175 employees who work for the United States Postal Service in Champaign, Illinois. Thank you for visiting our site.

Why have a Webpage?

This web site was created as another way for our members to be informed on union activity. Because, the written language is only as good as the person writing it, and nobody is perfect, there are bound to be misunderstandings. Please, if you come across anything on this web site that is in error or comes off as offensive, contact us and give us the opportunity to correct it. Our intent is not to degrade or embarrass anyone, we are here for you, not against you.

Our Mission

Our goal is to strengthen our Union by enabling our members easy access to a range of information from specifics of local agreements with the Postal Service, to information about the Union movement in general. We truly hope you enjoy your visit to the APWU Local 692 Home Page.
